From the first phone call with Mary, to schedule our meeting with Kenny, we instantly felt comfortable and at ease.
After meeting with Kenny we knew we had to have our wedding at Temple Avodah with Kombert Caterers. It was the first and only venue that we went to see. We met with Kenny on a Saturday afternoon and by Monday morning we had officially booked our wedding date. Kenny and Mary were AMAZING to work with. Every email was always answered in the timely manner – we even received responses in the evenings, after work hours. Mary was always available through email, text or for a phone call. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from information to advice, she did it all. Kenny made sure everything ran smoothly and every detail was accounted for, from our first meeting, leading up to and the day of our wedding. He was there for the entire event to see everything through. Our Bridal attendant and Matr’d were also phenomenal. Before the wedding ceremony my mom’s strap broke on her shoe and they were able to somehow fix it so she was able to wear them. Later on, the bridesmaids also found that my bustle had broken and they quickly sprang into action and sewed it up, before I walked into the reception. Almost three months later our guests are still raving about our wedding. From the phenomenal food, to the exceptional service they provided. The cocktail hour is out of this world with items like champagne popsicles, truffle mac and cheese, and a wide variety of stations - a grilled cheese station, a tapas and tequila station, a southern comfort station (paired with moonshine lemonade), a deli station, a pasta station and everything in between. We had five choices of entrees (filet mignon, chicken, duck, salmon, and vegetable), which were all enjoyed by our guests. The desserts are another unique and unlike anything you have seen anywhere else. They walk around from table to table offering a wide variety of desserts and after dinner drinks – we had a s’mores station where they actually roasted the marshmallows in front of you, hot pretzels, ice cream sundaes, sorbet in fruit cups, a cordial bar and just about anything you could think of or want for dessert and it was all phenomenal. Most of our guests have said it was by far the best wedding they have ever been to, with the best food and amazing, attentive, service. Each table of guests claimed that they received the best service from the staff. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more and we owe it all to Kenny, Mary and the entire Kombert Staff!
